"I already have a web site, can you re-design it for me?"
"I would like a few more pages added to my web site, can you add them for me?"
"I need some of the information on my web site amended, can your web designers do that for me?"
These are common questions from many companies who already have a web site.
Statistics find that most companies who have a web site already created, often require pages added or amended as products, services and circumstances change.
In most cases, they will approach the web design company that originally created the site, however, it could be more cost effective to get the work completed by a different company.
Adding pages to a web site
We can add pages to an existing web site, or amend current pages
depending on the customers requirements. For pages using HTML all we need is access to the Server on which the web site is hosted, in order to upload the newly created pages.
If the web site is created using Flash, then we would initially require access to the flash source code (fla) file, to made the amendments. Once the amendments are made, we would also require access to the Server on which the web site is hosted, to upload the newly amended file.
Re-designing a web site
For re-designed web site, our web designers would create the site in the same way as we would a new site.
Once you are happy with the design and layout of the site, we would upload it to your Server.
An example of a re-designed web site follows:
Tailored Property Management, started out as a basic design. T.P.M approached us to give their site a general overhaul and add further pages.
We reviewed their site and re-designed it to give the following enhancements:
Created a small flash animated header and incorporated navigation into it. ( not forgetting to add text links at the bottom of the page, see here for details) This little amendment makes the pages standout and generally makes the site more inviting.
Amended all the background imagery and page widths to enable the pages to be printed in their entirety and quickly without unnecessary images.
Added popup pages for their before and after images as well as adding a few extra pages and amending their text to be more search engine friendly.
The result being a site which is more informative and easy on the eye.
